This Regional Health Authorities Medicine Program is seeking applicants for a full time Hospitalist(up to 26 weeks per year) to commence employment as soon as possible.

Contract position paid through monthly stipend installments

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Admit, provide hospital care and discharge those patients presenting to hospital – Admitting Patients to all programs in the centre – Responding to day to day medical problems and family concerns – Liaison with interdisciplinary team members to resolve problems – Fulfill these duties as part of a team.
Qualifications
Must be eligible for registration & licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Manitoba.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be eligible for licensure and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and CMPA.
CCFP or other relevant postgraduate training is preferred.
ACLS certification is required or be obtained shortly after commencing employment.
